Contacting Musicians
"Heads up, we're using Rhapsody!"
Rhapsody sends Calls and communication through the email, SMS messages, and our Rhapsody Musicians mobile app.
Musicians can choose how to receive their calls, but by default, Rhapsody will send calls via email. On average, musicians who download our app or opt in for SMS messages respond 94% faster than musicians who only receive emails.
WARNING
Various email providers have been known to filter Rhapsody calls and automatically flag them as "spam" or "promotions". We strongly recommend contacting your musicians PRIOR to your first Call so they can set up their email and/or download the Rhapsody Musicians mobile app.
Before you send your musicians a heads up...
Be sure you have the following:
Finished Importing your Musicians into Rhapsody
Filled out your Contractor Settings and set up your Rhapsody Username
List of musicians emails ready

When you inform your musicians about switching to Rhapsody, you will want them to be aware of:
What email they can expect calls from (as set up in your Contractor Settings)
Setting up a filter in their email
Encourage download of the Rhapsody Musicians mobile app.

In order to ensure your email provider does not mistakenly place Rhapsody communications in your spam folder, we ask you configure a filter in your email. To do this, you will save @rhapsody.la to your emails' contact's so that emails do not go to spam. A popup will ask you to enable push notifications. Tap on "Allow"
Tap the "Create Account" button
Using the same email address you received this current email, create your account
You will receive a code sent to your email. Confirm your account with the code.
Once you've confirmed your account, your account is set up to receive Rhapsody communications. In the app, you can customize your profile and opt in for SMS messaging in the app settings.
FAQ's
If you already receive calls through Rhapsody from a different organization, your calls from
name of organization
will automatically appear in your Rhapsody mobile app. If not, be sure that the email we have on file is the same email used in your other organizations. At this time, Rhapsody does not have a desktop version of the mobile app for musicians. You can respond and reply to a Rhapsody call using the information found in your email on your desktop.
