Declined Musicians

"Sorry, maybe next time!"

When a musician receives an invite, they have the option to decline their call. This means they will no longer receive communications about the Project and you are able to replace them with the next in line musician.

Declined musicians will be highlighted in red. They will have the circle with a slash next to their name, as well as arrows (replace) or "x" (remove)

FYI

If you do not see the arrows or x next to a musicians name, they are likely canceled. Read more about canceling + releasing musicians.

Replacing Declined Musician

If you know who you want to replace the declined musician immediately, you can easily replace them

  1. Locate the declined musician in a Project

  2. Select the circular arrows next to their name

  3. In the dropdown menu provided, type or select the musician you want to replace the declined musician

  4. Viola! You have now replaced a declined musician

FYI

You will still need to manually send an invite to the musician you have replaced. Rhapsody will not automatically send any calls to musicians. Read more about upcoming features

Removing Declined Musician

If you want to remove the declined musician from the call, but do not know who to send the replacement call to, you can simply click on the x next to the two arrows icon. This will remove the musician from all their assignments on the Project and leave an empty Chair.

You can now add a musician to the empty Chair whenever you are ready!

Did you know?

Rhapsody will provide you with a list of suggested musicians to replace the declined musician! Save yourself some time on your next Project and tell Rhapsody which musicians you'd like Rhapsody to suggest. Read more about Who's Next.
